While comparatively simple in design, printers require a number of conditions to be met before work can begin. Electricity, a connection to a computer or other media device, and a cartridge of ink are all required for proper functioning. Like an athlete training for an Olympic event, a printer works hard to provide its users with quality, legible material. Unfortunately, this means that printer ink can drain so quickly that one might think there was a hole in the cartridge.
